There are normal and clinically relevant Radiographs and CT scans for regular small group discussions with students. The well-equipped research facility is utilized for routine Histological and Cytogenetics research.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES:

The Museum has an amazing collection of more than 230 dissected wet specimens, plastinated specimens, dry models, embryology models, charts and bone sets.

The Dissection hall has the capacity to accommodate 150 students and has a cold storage facility to preserve 20 cadavers. A separate embalming room and storage tanks for the cadavers also exist.

Histology practical hall can accommodate 90 students at a time and each student is provided with a microscope for effective self-learning.

Research Lab fully equipped with Tissue processing and slide preparation unit enables the department to replenish the Histology Lab with newer slides.

The genetic lab is fully functional and operational.

With the establishment of a plastination lab, we intend to make learning anatomy easier and interesting.

We are conducting CME every year in the name of VIEWS. The department is all set to conduct ISA Sponsorship in 2020
