About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established on 09-01-2017.

The office of IQAC is located on the first floor of the hospital building. The faculties from various clinical, pre-clinical, and para-clinical departments along with students and external members are members of IQAC. The meeting of IQAC has been scheduled to be conducted 4 times a year to review the performance indicators, and implementation of the action plan thereby enhancing the overall quality of the educational process in the institute.

Vision

“To foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of academic and administrative functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and holistic student development, positioning the institution as a benchmark for quality assurance in education, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the betterment of society”.

Objectives of IQAC

  1. Develop a system of all-inclusive action to improve academic and administrative performance
  2. Promote measures for internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices

 

Functions

  1. Develop quality benchmarks and adopt quality enhancement initiatives for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  2. Enabling a student-centric learning environment and use of modern technology for in teaching, learning, and evaluation
  3. Develop a system of collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders about the infrastructure, facility, and overall educational environment of the institute.
  4. Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders; e) Organization of inter and intra-institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related themes and promotion of quality circles;
  5. Establishing a mechanism of documentation of the various programs/activities leading to quality improvement;
  6. Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its analysis and remedial measures for addressing the gap.
  7. Acting as a nodal agency for coordinating with NAAC and preparation and submission of the IIQA/SSR/AQAR as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
