Velammal College of Allied Health Sciences (VCAHS) commenced in the year 2015 to impart quality education in the field of allied health science. Allied Health is a term used to describe the broad range of health professionals who are not doctors, dentists or nurses. Allied health professionals aim to prevent, diagnose and treat a range of conditions and illnesses and often work within a multidisciplinary health team to provide the best patient outcomes.<\/p>\n

VCAHS is affiliated to Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and an exclusive women\u2019s college to empower young girl\u2019s to serve society. It is located on the campus of the Velammal Medical College Hospital & Research Institute. Emphasizing on patient wellness and realizing the critical role they play VCHAS functions with an objective to produce technicians who are competent and skilled in their respective fields. They are exposed to hands-on real-time training to attain precision in their work. Apart from providing clinical training in VMACH students are exposed to real-time experience in the hospital working along with medical professionals that include technicians. VCAHS provides clinical training to its students in the Velammal Medical College Hospital and Velammal Speciality Hospital, both of which are well-known in Madurai and beyond for high-quality medical care. The objective of VCHAS is to produce technicians who are highly competent and skilled in their respective fields, with the ultimate aim of providing high-quality medical care to patients.<\/p>\n
